Welcome to DukaanWale (the "Service"), a shop management SaaS platform operated by Urban Solutions (GSTIN: 09AWFPS0017C1ZW), proprietor Abhay Singh, based in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. By accessing or using our website at dukaanwale.in or our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. About the Service

DukaanWale provides a cloud-based shop management platform primarily for retail shops (including wine/beer/country liquor shops, general stores, and similar businesses) in India. The platform offers:

• Billing & invoice generation
• Inventory management
• Daily accounting and reconciliation
• Party/Customer ledger management
• Stock registers and reports
• Staff management and role-based access
• Mobile and desktop access via web and Android app

2. Account Registration

To use the Service:

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts under Indian law.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Subscription & Payment

DukaanWale operates on a subscription basis:

• Monthly Plan: ₹999 per shop per month
• Yearly Plan: ₹9,999 per shop per year (save approx. ₹2,000)
• Each shop requires a separate subscription; users can add multiple shops to their account.
• Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI credentials.
• Subscription is auto-renewable unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices may change; existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.
• Applicable taxes (GST) may be added to the displayed price.

4. Discount Coupons

We may offer promotional coupon codes from time to time. Coupons are subject to terms set by us (validity period, usage limits, applicable plans) and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated. Coupons have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to violate any local, state, or national laws.
• To conduct illegal sales (including sales to minors, unlicensed alcohol sales in prohibited areas, etc.).
• To harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• To submit false or misleading information.
• To upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code.
• To attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or connected systems.
• To resell, sub-license, or redistribute the Service without our written consent.

6. User Data & Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy and legality of all data you enter into the system (bills, inventory, party records, etc.).
• Ensuring your business operations comply with applicable laws (excise, GST, licensing, etc.).
• Maintaining your own backup of critical data. While we maintain cloud backups, we recommend users periodically export data.
• Any content, receipts, or communications sent to your customers through our sharing features (WhatsApp, email, PDF).

7. Intellectual Property

All content on DukaanWale, including design, code, logos, and features, is the property of Urban Solutions / Abhay Singh and is protected by Indian and international copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (announced in advance where possible)
• Unforeseen technical issues
• Third-party service outages (Firebase, Hostinger, Razorpay)
• Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• DukaanWale is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
• Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.
• We are not responsible for losses due to incorrect data entry, staff misuse, or operational decisions made by the shop owner.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms.
• Your subscription lapses and is not renewed within 30 days.
• We detect fraudulent activity or chargebacks.
• Required by law or legal authority.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days for possible recovery, after which it may be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
